Science

Science and I are "frienemies". In my past I have loved science, but then I got bored with it when I felt every lesson was about volcanoes, and lab reports in elementary school. Overtime I've been indecisive about my relationship with science. For example, when the science fairs would come around I would be excited about picking a topic and conducting the experiment. But what I also noticed about myself is that when that experiment wouldn't go the way I wanted it to I gave up. And the thing about science is it's unpredictable. But science and I have also had our moments, like last year in the the 8th grade when I made an amazing experiment where I had to make crystals using a chemical called Borax and coloring dye. That experiment got me an A and I had an amazing time conducting it.
Something that I want to get out of science this year is more experimentation. I want to make stuff, then see what it can do and how it does it. But before coming to high school I expected to be taking chemistry and making chemicals, but to my disappointment I'm actually taking Biology:Life Studies. Right now I like where science and I are at right now and I really don't want to change it.
